photovoltaic greenhouse
For Solveo Energies, we built a 30,415 m² photovoltaic greenhouse in Comberouger, in the southwest of France, including a 1,600 m² test area without photovoltaic modules.
Under this structure, Mr Fiorito will cultivate vegetables as well as aromatic plants such as lavender, thyme, and oregano. Thanks to this photovoltaic greenhouse, crops will be protected from all climatic conditions, thereby improving production and profitability.
This greenhouse stands out for its wide-span design with an asymmetrical roof, developed according to our VENLO SOLAR WINDOWS principle:
The foundation work was completed in a record time of 11 days, while complying with the industry’s strictest standards.
This project was carried out near high-voltage power lines, requiring particular attention to safety and accuracy during execution.
In terms of environmental impact, this greenhouse generates 3.3 MWp and prevents the emission of 35 tonnes of CO₂ per year, equivalent to the annual emissions of 1,001 households.
We greatly value our successful collaboration with Solveo Energies.
This project demonstrates our expertise in building large greenhouses, even in challenging conditions.
